The wait is almost over! You can now sign up for the Chrono Odyssey closed beta through the game’s official Steam page. This upcoming next-generation MMORPG, developed by Chrono Studio and published by Kakao Games, is gearing up for a global release on PC and consoles in Q4 2025.

What Is Chrono Odyssey?
Chrono Odyssey is an ambitious MMORPG built with Unreal Engine 5, offering stunning graphics and fast-paced action combat reminiscent of games like Black Desert Online. The game’s most unique feature? Time manipulation mechanics, allowing players to stop and rewind time in both exploration and combat.
Kakao Games, known for publishing ArcheAge, Path of Exile, and previously Black Desert Online, confirmed during a recent investor call that Chrono Odyssey will feature a seamless open world and innovative gameplay systems.
Closed Beta Test Coming Soon – Possibly This Month
During Kakao Games’ Q1 2025 earnings call on May 7, the company confirmed that development is progressing well and the closed beta test (CBT) is expected as early as May. If not May, the beta will definitely arrive in June 2025, barring any delays.

- Click on “Request Access”
