Ahead of this testing phase, the developers shared several insights about what makes Chrono Odyssey unique. One standout feature is the Chronotector, a device that allows players to manipulate time and space—slowing down foes or rewinding parts of the world. In PvP, its use will be limited for balance reasons, but it still serves a vital role in tactical play.

Regarding character progression, players can expect detailed skill trees and the ability to respec. Although there’s no full multiclass system, players can freely switch between weapon types, enabling a wide range of combat styles.
The upcoming beta will feature three available classes, each capable of using three different weapons. This flexible system encourages experimentation and personalized strategies without being bound by strict class limitations.
Set in the world of Setera, the open world is designed to feel dynamic and alive. Expect shifting weather, time-sensitive events, and regional bosses that appear based on player activity and the in-game time cycle.
Dungeons and PvE raids will be central to the endgame experience, offering challenging boss fights and significant rewards for coordinated groups.

As for PvP, players will be able to engage in 1v1 duels and open-field battles by activating PvP mode. Future updates will introduce larger-scale content like conflict zones and PvPvE scenarios, where players fight for objectives while facing environmental dangers.

Chrono Studio confirmed that multiple closed beta phases are planned. Each one will come with new features and adjustments based on community feedback.
