The world of Setera is changing. Npixel has revealed a preview of the upcoming visual enhancements coming to Chrono Odyssey, its highly anticipated open-world MMORPG, showcasing a new ambient lighting system that completely redefines the atmosphere of the game.
According to the studio, this visual evolution aims to balance ambient light with natural darkness, creating a more immersive and realistic experience. Some areas of Setera now feature a darker, more mysterious tone, while others stand out for their breathtaking beauty, achieving harmony between calm and dramatic visuals.
The developers clarified that these graphical improvements are still a work in progress, meaning the showcased lighting effects do not represent the game’s final version. Even so, the first previews already demonstrate a remarkable technical and artistic leap, solidifying Chrono Odyssey as one of the most promising MMORPGs in development.
