The highly anticipated MMORPG Chrono Odyssey seems to be gearing up for its first wave of user testing. According to SteamDB, a test client for the game has already surfaced on Steam, suggesting that the closed beta (CBT) is imminent. The client download size is listed at 38.72 GB, with the installed version taking up 39.63 GB of space.
The beta test is titled “Chrono Odyssey Playtest“, though it’s still unclear how players will gain access. Internal reports hint that Kakao Games may allow a large number of interested users to participate in the trial.
The timing of the test appears to align with Steam’s upcoming “Games Will Be” festival, running from June 9 to 16, 2025. More concrete details, including the official start date, are expected to be announced during the opening ceremony of Summer Game Fest 2025, which kicks off at midnight between June 6 and 7.
