Global Test Set for Mid-2025
Kakao Games revealed in its Q1 2025 earnings report that the highly anticipated MMORPG Chrono Odyssey will enter global testing in Q2 2025, with an exact date to be announced before the end of May.

Official Statement from Kakao Games
Han Sang-Woo, CEO of Kakao Games, confirmed the game is heading for a large-scale CBT on Steam, following successful internal tests. He shared:
“Chrono Odyssey will let players experience all the core features of our dark fantasy MMO — an epic open world, immersive exploration, and class-based combat.”
As this is the first public test, the team is committed to delivering a smooth and polished experience.
Closed Test Showed Positive Results
Earlier this year, Kakao ran an NDA test with 150 players from North America and Europe, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Players praised the time-and-space-based narrative, the combo-based combat system, and the wide variety of classes.
The test confirmed that the overall quality of the game has significantly improved, raising excitement for what’s to come in the global beta.
