The developers at Chrono Studio continue to highlight the progress of their online action RPG Chrono Odyssey, this time through a new short video focused on the visual changes made to character equipment. Based on the footage shown, the overall appearance now looks darker, with more pronounced details thanks to adjustments in textures and lighting.
In the video description, the team explained that their current work aims not only to enhance visual quality but also to improve the game’s overall performance:
“Our ongoing development reflects improvements in performance and optimization of our rendering systems. The footage may not represent the final version! More updates will be released soon!”
However, not all players were satisfied. In the comments, some users criticized the shift from a previously bright aesthetic to one that now feels too dark, suggesting that the game could benefit from more brightness and contrast so the world doesn’t appear dull or lifeless.
